American Dream in The Pursuit of Happyness 摘 要 美国梦作为美国价值观的重要组成部分，为大多数美国人所推崇。美国人深为其自由平等为底蕴的“美国梦”而自豪。但是随着时代的进步，人们赋予了“美国梦”新的含义，不仅仅是指社会的和平平等，更多的是指特殊的环境中的个人的发展。与传统的“美国梦”相比较，现代“美国梦”更强调对机遇的发现与把握。怀揣“美国梦”的人大都愿意相信，任何人通过自己的努力都可以迈向成功的顶峰。影片《当幸福来敲门》就展现了现代“美国梦”这个主题。这部影片改编自美国著名黑人投资专家克里斯·加德纳2006 年年初出版的同名自传。影片《当幸福来敲门》虽是一部传统的以追寻梦想为母题的励志主题片，但是主人翁得到幸福的背后向我们表现的美国梦在个人身上的充分体现。这部电影始终洋溢着美国梦想的核心：坚信、坚忍、坚持。 关键词：美国梦;机遇；挑战 Abstract As an important part of American value system, the “American Dream” is admired by most American people. American people are very proud of the profound meaning of “American Dream”. But as progress of the era , people give “American Dream” new meaning, It does not mean the equality and peace of the society; it has more meaning: special environment of personal development. Compared with the traditional “American dream”, the modern “American dream” more focus on the discovery and grasp the opportunities. The people who believe the “American Dream” also believe that anyone through their own efforts can be great success. Film The Pursuit of Happyness shows the theme of modern “American dream”. The film adapted from a famous American black investment expert Chris Gardners autobiography published early 2006. The purport of the film The Pursuit of Happyness is encourage people to chase their dreams, at the same time ,the inspirational themes to master happiness were behind the environment of American Dream, and tell us how American Dream reflect in individuals . The movie shows us the themes of American dream: belief, perseverance, and persistence. Key words：American dreamOpportunities ；Challenges 1.
