Pre-departure checklist
Step 1. Understand and accept your Offer of Enrolment
Congratulations! You have been offered a place to study at the University of Tasmania or Australian Maritime College. Firstly, you should
read the information contained in your Offer of Enrolment carefully, ensuring that you understand the offer which has been made to you.

For more information on such things as the requirements for acceptance into a course, minimum English language profi ciency, education
qualifi cations, work experience required, course credit, campus locations, facilities, equipment, learning library resources, defer ral,
suspensions and cancellation of enrolment, description of the ESOS framework, UTAS rules of progress, and specifi c information for
students under the age of 18, please refer to the University’s international services website at .au
To accept your Offer of Enrolment, you need to complete the Acceptance Form (page 2 of your Offer of Enrolment) and then return
it to the address stated on your Offer of Enrolment, with details for fee payment to confi rm your place: The fee you need to pay to
accept your offer of a place is outlined in your Offer of Enrolment. You will then be sent a Confi rmation of Enrolment for Overseas
Students (CoE) form, which will enable you to apply for a student visa to enter Australia.
Step 2. Apply for University accommodation or temporary accommodation
Step 3. Book Flights
Ensure that you have booked a fl ight into the correct Tasmanian city and that you are arriving in time for the commencement
of orientation.
Step 4. Fill out Arrival Form and send to the University
