乌镇，地处中国浙江桐乡市北部，位于上海、杭州、南京三大城市中间，位于东经120o29’，北纬30o44’。全镇总面积达71.19平方千米，总人口为6万人，常住居民1.2万人。

乌镇被纵横交错的河流分为四个区域，京杭大运河穿镇而过，是中国唯一与运河毗邻的水乡古镇。乌镇位于杭州-嘉兴-湖州淤积平原，无山丘，河流纵横交织，气候温和湿润，雨量充沛，光照充足，物产丰富，素有“鱼米之乡、丝绸之府”之称。?
