The produced bags are weighed by a downstream checkweigher which re- cords the bag#39;s actual weight. Any deviation in weight detected is corrected by the tendency regulation process. To trigger the process, signals are generated by the checkweigher, which are then implemented by the dosing unit control. Operation ROVEMA tendency regulation works with pulse-width modulated signals which must be sent by the checkweigher. The pulse width, i.e. the duration of a pulse, varies according to the weight deviatio
