The purification and antioxidant activity studies of
caffeoyl-rhamnopyranoside-glucopyra-noside in common buckwheat bran
Abstract:In this work, polyphenol in common buckwheat bran was separated and purified by using column chromatography in order to get caffeoyl-rhamno-pyranoside-glucopyra-noside. The antioxidant activity of purified caffeoyl-rham- nopyranoside-glucopyra-noside was studied as well. Fifteen polyphenol species were detected in the common buckwheat bran, and caffeoyl-rhamnopyranoside-
glucopyra-noside had highest content. Therefore, caffeoyl-rhamnopyranoside-glu-
copyra-noside was purified by colomn chromatography method and macroporousresin, polyamide combine with glucan (Sephadex-LH20) ere used as purification ma-
terial. The antioxidant activities of purified product were then studied by DPPHand FRAP method. The results showed that the antioxidant activity of caffeoyl-rha
