INTRODUCTION

TheUSB-i485moduleisacost-effectivewaytoconvertRS485orRS422industrialbusestoaUSBinterface.When

connectedtoaPCUSBporttheUSB-i485moduleisautomaticallydetectedandisinstalledasanativeCOMport,which

iscompatiblewithanyexistingserialcommunicationapplication.

MultiplemodulescanbeinstalledwhenusingUSBhubsthusallowingahassle-freeconfigurationofamultiserialsystem

withoutanyIRQorDMAconfiguration.1500VdcisolationbetweentheUSBportandRS485/RS422protectsthePC

fromspikesorpossiblemisconnectionsinthecommunicationbus.
