BackgroundandIntroduction:

Asthedemandforsustainableandrenewableenergysourcesincreases,photovoltaic-thermal(PVT)hybridsystemshavegainedpopularityduetotheirdualfunctionalityofgeneratingelectricityandthermalenergy.ThePVThybridsystemcanalsoimprovetheoverallefficiencyofthesystembyreducingtheoperatingtemperatureofthephotovoltaic(PV)moduleandincreasingtheelectricitygenerationduringhotweather.However,theperformanceofthePVTsystemisinfluencedbymanyfactors,includingthetypeofPVmodule,thermalcollectordesign,flowrate,temperature,andsunlightintensity.Therefore,itisimportanttooptimizetheoverallsystemperformancetoenhanceitsproductivityandcost-effectiveness.

ResearchObjectives:

ThemainobjectiveofthisresearchistodevelopatheoreticalmodeltooptimizetheperformanceofthePVThybridsystemandanalyzethefactorsthatinfluenceitsperformance.Thespecificobjectivesareasfollows:

-ReviewthestateoftheartofPVThybridsystemsandidentifyexistingresearchgaps

-DevelopamathematicalmodelforthePVThybridsystemtooptimizeitsperformance

-Conductasensitivityanalysistoinvestigatetheeffectsofdifferentparametersonsystemperformance

-Evaluatethecost-effectivenessofthePVThybridsystemandcompareitwithotherrenewableenergysystems

Methodology:

ThestudywilladoptatheoreticalapproachtodevelopamathematicalmodelforthePVThybridsystem.ThemodelwillconsiderthecharacteristicsofthePVmodule,thermalcollector,flowrate,temperature,andsunlightintensity.TheperformanceofthePVThybridsystemwillbeevaluatedusingthefollowingparameters:electricalandthermalefficiencies,overallefficiency,energyoutput,andlevelizedcostofenergy(LCOE).Asensitivityanalysiswillbeconductedtoexaminethee
