But it also has stronglytoxic side-effect. In order to obtain lowly toxic anticancer agents, 5-FU derivatives were prepared. Methods: Three types of FU derivatives were synthesized. Methods: 5-Fluorouracil-1-yl acetic acid was synthesized from bromoacetic acid and 5-fluorouracil in 83.5% yield; cinnamylate 5- fluorouracil-1yl-methyl ester were synthesized by two steps with 5-fluorouracil and cinnamylate as the raw materials. Results: The structures were confirmed by IR, TLC, MS. Conclusions 5-fluorouracil-yl-acetic acid, N1-(2- bromoethyl) -fluorouracil, and cinnamylate 5-fluorouracil-1yl-methyl ester are promising derivatives of 5-fl
