Wuhan Iron and Steel Group Co, Wuhan 430082, China) Abstract : The ductile cast ironsamples inthe core of centrifugal casting highspeed steelductile iron compound roll are heattreated and the effects of the quench temperature on the mechanical properties, graphite morphologies and microstructures are investigated. The results show that the property of ductile iron quenched inthe range of 1 000 ~ 1 100 can meet the requirements of high speed steelductile iron compound roll. This investigation provides reference for the heat treatment of centrifugal casting highspeed steelductile iron compound roll.
