Postdoctoral Research Center of Drugs Research Institute, Harbin University of Commerce, Harbin 150076, China) Abstract: Endoplasmic reticulum stress reaction can not only lead to apoptosis, but also induce autophagy. Autophagy is a self-digestion process that can maintain intracellular homeostasis and cell survival. The research progress of the interaction mechanism between endoplasmic reticulum stress and autophagy is discussed in this paper, to supply theoretical basis and reference for prevention of cancer and discovery of new target for anticancer drugs by retrieval of relevant literature at home and abroad.
