Introduction:

Asaresultofrapidurbanizationandeconomicdevelopment,the

problemoflow-incomehousinghasbecomeincreasinglyprominentin

Chinesecities.Nanjingcity,asthecapitalofJiangsuProvince,hasa

largenumberoflow-incomeresidentsandfacesgreatchallengesin

providingaffordableanddecenthousingforthem.Therefore,thestudy

ofthedifferentiationoflivingspaceoflow-incomepopulationinNanjing

cityanditscountermeasureshasgreatpracticalsignificance.

Researchobjectives:

Thisstudyaimstoanalyzethelivingspacedifferentiationoflow-

incomepopulationinNanjingcityfromthreeaspects:spatial

differentiation,socialdifferentiation,andeconomicdifferentiation.

Basedontheanalysis,theresearchwillproposeeffective

countermeasurestoimprovethelivingconditionsoflow-income

populationinNanjingcity.

Researchmethods:

Thisstudywilluseacombinationofqualitativeandquantitative

researchmethods.Firstly,throughliteraturereviewandfield

investigation,theresearchwillanalyzethecurrentsituation,causesand

characteristicsofthedifferentiationoflivingspaceoflow-income

populationinNanjingcity.Secondly,theresearchwillusestatistical

analysistoquantifythedifferentiationoflivingspacefromdifferent

perspectives,includingspatialdistribution,housingaffordability,

housingquality,livingconditions,etc.Thirdly,basedontheanalysis

results,theresearchwillproposeappropriatepolicyrecommendations

toimprovethelivingconditionsoflow-incomepopulationinNanjingcity.
