hasbecomeapopulardeviceinmanycountriesforsecurity
monitoringandeventcapturing.Thereadabilityof
contentisthemostcriticalmatter,however,thecontentis
oftendegradedduetothewindscreenreflectionofobjects
inside.Inthispaper,weproposeanovelmethodtoremove(a)
thereflectiononthewindscreenfromin-vehicleblackbox
s.Themethodexploitsthespatio-temporalcoherence
ofreflection,whichstatesthatavehicleismovingforward
whilethereflectionoftheinternalobjectsremainsstatic.
Theaverageimagepriorisproposedbyimposingaheavy-
taildistributionwithahigherpeaktoremovethereflection.
Thetwo-layeredscenecomposedofreflectionandback-
groundlayersisthebasisoftheseparationmodel.Anon-
convexcostfunctionisdevelopedbasedonthispropertyand
optimizedinafastwayinahalfquadraticform.Experi-
mentalresultsdemonstratethattheproposedapproachsuc-
cessfullyseparatesthereflectionlayerinseveralrealblack
boxs.
