The algorithm divides ONU operation into 3 grades, and according to different operation grade, the algorithm dynamically allocate up-stream access bandwidth, which can effectively ensure the QoS of the whole EPON network and the equitableness of bandwidth allocation. At the same time, in order to improve the bandwidth utilization ra- tio, conquer the idle time problem, and the algorithm is ameliorated. Finally, the algorithm is simulated.
