中西方文化差异对语言交际的影响及交流策略 摘 要 随着中国对外开放程度的逐渐深入，西方社会的人和事物越来越多地走进了我们的视野，在这种情况下，跨国域，跨民族，跨文化的经济和社会交往将会与日俱增。这对于我们了解西方社会是一件好事，却不是件容易的事，因为我们面对的是陌生的文化和国家，因而在跨语言交际活动中，不可避免的会造成文化冲突。如何准确地传递信息关键在于是否通晓目的语言国家的文化渊源，历史传统，风土人情等多方面的知识。其目的就在于消除英汉语言交际中的文化障碍，达到语言的有效沟通。 本文从宗教、习俗、历史典故、色彩词汇等方面浅析中西方文化差异对语言交际的影响，继而从移情和文化融合的角度提出一些语言交际策略。 关键词：语言交际；文化差异；交际策略；文化积累 Cultural Discrepancies and Strategies in Language Communication Between China and the West ABSTRACT Recently, cross-cultural communication is becoming more and more important. Many foreigners come to china for travel, business and living. In this situation, the communication of economy and society will be very frequent. It is good for us to understand the western society, but it’s not easy. What we meet are different cultures and countries, which have the different thought styles, life styles and behaviors. It is inevitable to lead to the phenomenon of cultural conflicts in communication. How to transmit information exactly? The key method is to understand the cultural origins, historical traditions, local customs and so on. It aims to eliminate cultural obstacles in language exchange and achieves a successful communication. This paper analyzes the cultural discrepancies between China and the west in aspects of religion, habitude, historical quotation, glossaries about colour, which have a large influence on language communication. Accordingly, some suggestions have been offered in terms of empathy and cultural fusion.
