Abstract Silicate as an excellent p osp or used for w itelig t LED, ex ibits good properties for c emical and
t ermal stability , sim ple synt esis tec nology, and is ext ensively investigated in recent years. Its lastest progress in
t e preparation, synt esis and t e luminescent properties about binary, ternary and ot er silicates is illuminated. T e
development of prospects concerning silicate as w it elig t LED p osp ors for preparation process, luminescent pro
perties and new materials are depicted.
