Effects of different modifiers on modification efficiency of
4032 aluminum alloy

Abstract: The microstructure and tensile properties of 4032 aluminum alloy after adding different modifiers combined
with strontium were studied using optical microscope (OM), scanning electron microscope (SEM), energy spectrum
analysis and mechanical property tests. The results indicate that the morphology and property of 4032 aluminum alloy
modified by quaternionic sodium salt combined with strontium is optimal. The porosity rate of 4032 aluminum alloy
modified by some modifiers combined with strontium is lower than that by the strontium alone, the rate of the alloy
modified by sodium salt combined with strontium is the lowest; None of primary silicon
