The appearance of the exhibition halls has provided the citizens with a platform to know more about the city’s history and culture, to participate in the future planning of the city and to communicate with each other. As people’s desire to seek knowledge enhanced with time passing by, the visitors of the exhibition hall will no more be satisfied with understanding the exhibition contents superficially. What they want is not only to see the simple display of some exhibits and general introduction and perspectives about them, but also to exploit their meanings in a deeper level, thus the necessity to establish a urban planning exhibition hall in Youxian, a county in Zhuzhou, Hunan. Key words:Urban planning exhibition hall; Display design; Youxian 一、项目介绍及调研 （一）项目来源及意义 攸县城市规划展览馆的建成使用，为进一步地加快城乡建设、提高攸县城镇化水平、促进攸县建设和谐发展提供一个展示和交流的窗口，为攸县城市建设和区域经济发展起到促进和推动作用。 攸县城市规划展览馆是湖南的第一家省级馆，与当前国内许多城市建设/县级规划馆在展示内容选择、核心展厅、主题展厅的策划与设计方面都有较大的差异，如何能够做出攸县的特色，同时很好的展示出攸县资源与优势，成为当前摆出的规划展览馆建设的一大要素。 项目调研 1.攸 “厚德从善” “崇文重教” “诚信守法” “尚勤敢超” 图2攸县风景图
