thischapteronlyatanESDworkstationusinganantistaticwriststrapandaconductivefoam

pad.Ifsuchastationisn’tavailable,youcanprovidesomeESDprotectionbywearingan

antistaticwriststrapandattachingittoametalpartofthecomputerchassis.

InstallationPrecautions

WhenyouinstallandtesttheIntelNUC,observeallwarningsandcautionsintheinstallation

instructions.

Toavoidinjury,becarefulof:

•Sharppinsonconnectors

•Sharppinsoncircuitboards

•Roughedgesandsharpcornersonthechassis

•Hotcomponents(suchasSSDs,processors,voltageregulators,andheatsinks)
