ThevalueofthecharactersetportionofPlsqlNLSLanguageintheconfigurationofthe

mod_plsqlDatabaseAccessDescriptor(DAD)mustbesettoAL32UTF8,regardlessof

theunderlyingdatabasecharacterset.

TheDatabaseAccessDescriptornowcontainsaparameterfor

PlsqlRequestValidationFunction.Thepurposeofthisparameteristolimitthe

numberofprocedureswhichcanbeinvokedthroughmod_plsql.Bydefault,theonly

procedurespermittedarethepublicentrypointsofOracleApplicationExpress.This
