Sean Sanders: Hello and welcome to all the viewers joining us live for this
Science/AAAS webinar. I’m Sean Sanders, editor for custom
publishing at Science.
Today, we’ll be discussing translational research and how genetic
profiling using next generation sequencing technologies can be
applied to determine more effective personalized treatments for a
variety of diseases.
Our panel in the studio today will share their experiences in utilizing
next gen sequencing in a clinical setting, specifically its application to
the areas of cancer and HIV/AIDS susceptibility as well as be
available to answer questions from you, our live online viewers.
