WARNING

MakesuretosetupthefollowingsafetycircuitsoutsidethePLCtoensuresafesystemoperation

evenduringexternalpowersupplyproblemsorPLCfailure.Otherwise,malfunctionsmaycause

seriousaccidents.

-Mostimportantly,setupthefollowing:anemergencystopcircuit,aprotectioncircuit,aninterlock

circuitforoppositemovements(suchasnormalvs.reverserotation),andaninterlockcircuit(to

preventdamagetotheequipmentattheupperandlowerpositioninglimits).

-NotethatwhentheCPUmoduledetectsanerror,suchasawatchdogtimererror,duringself-

diagnosis,alloutputsareturnedoff.Also,whenanerrorthatcannotbedetectedbytheCPU

moduleoccursinaninput/outputcontrolblock,outputcontrolmaybedisabled.Externalcircuits

andmechanismssh
