Abs tract: Fairy mature mi age theorieshave been developed in China s classical art study andmodern urban de
sign theory, which can be summarized and referred to in the landscape design ofurbanwaterfront areas. Specif
ically, not only are mi age elem ents ofpersonality, structure and mi plication likewaters, edge, node, landmark
and path highlighted but also an ingenious configuration and silhouetting is to bebrought into fullplay in order to
constantly enrich and expand the viewers aesthetic experience. Only in thisway can a realm ofmagicalbeauty
be created, which perfectly blends artificialnessw ith natural landscape and integrates space and tmi e.
