摘　 要 　 　 WiＭax(Worldwｉｄe　Intｅｒopeｒabｉlity　ｆor　Miｃrowavｅ　Access),即全球微波互联接入。WiMAX的另一个名字是802．1６。WiMAX是一项新兴的宽带无线接入技术，能提供面向互联网的高速连接,数据传输距离最远可达50km。ＷiMAX还具有QｏＳ保障、传输速率高、业务丰富多样等优点。ＷiＭAX的技术起点较高,采用了代表未来通信技术发展方向的ＯFＤM/OFDMA、AＡＳ、ＭIMO等先进技术,随着技术标准的发展,WiMAX逐步实现宽带业务的移动化，而3G则实现移动业务的宽带化,两种网络的融合程度会越来越高。基于802．16ｅ 的全线WiMAX 产品都已推出,包括射频、基站、室内接入设备等,WiMAX　的商业模式也在逐步成熟中。但是,截至目前，还没有运营商部署移动WiMAX 系统。而IEＥＥ　今年启动对8０２.16m 标准的研制,不仅可在“漫游”模式或高效率/强信号模式下，将设备的下行传输速度提高到1Ｇb/ｓ，在“高移动”模式下传输速度达到100Ｍｂ/s，而且与WｉMAX 兼容，还将与基于OFDM/OFDMA 的4G 标准网络兼容。 关键字:WiMａx; OFDM/OFDＭA;4Ｇ；两网融合； Abｓtracｔ WiＭax (Inteｒｏpeｒａbiｌｉty of　Microwaｖe ｆor Accｅss), nａmely gloｂａｌ Miｃroｗaｖe Intｅrnet Access.
