Open type JG21-250A fixed press body is made, ANSYS FEM software is applied in this paper to analyze the model of open type fixed press body about its strength and rigidity, can obtain some results of the equivalent stress and the equivalent displacement of the body, which have important references to enhance the strength and reduce the weight of the press. This provides foundation for optimization of open type fixed press body. The research of this subject on press structure optimization may improve design level of press and provide reliable technical guidance for practical production.
