Design of ADoherty power amplifier with ADS

Peakt oAverage Ratio are better than before, and the linearit demand of base st ation is higher and higher. The pow er
am plifier w ith the traditional A B class or the feedforw ard can meet linearit demand, but hard to meet the requirements
of s stems pow er consumption. In t his paper, based on the theor of Dohert , A DS as design tools, an optimal bilateral
pull method was used to increase efficienc of the single pow er amplif ier. Optimal offset lines were to get the best pow er
combined for ADohert design. According to the simulation, the result show s that the gain of this amplifier is 15 dB,
t he P3 dB is 57 dBm at least , and the PAE is higher than 50% w hen the output power is 49 dBm.
