Fault analysis method of power transformer solid insulation material
In order to keep the appearance of equipment size at acceptable levels, the modern transformer was designed with a more compact way of insulation, insulation between the internal components in the operation required to withstand stress significantly increased levels of heat and electricity. Large power transformers of 110kV and above are mainly used in oil-paper insulation, and the main insulating materials are insulating oil and insulating paper and paperboard.
When a transformer internal fault is involved in solid insulation, it is generally considered to be quite serious regardless of the nature of the fault. Because once the insulation performance of the solid material is damaged, it is likely to further develop into the main insulation or longitudinal insulation breakdown. Therefore, the influence of the degradation of fibrous material is very important in fault diagnosis. Moreover, if it is possible to determine whether the transformer is involved in solid insulation or whether it is involved in solid insulation, it is also very helpful for the maintenance of the equipment.
In this paper, a new method for dynamic analysis of transformer insulation fault is presented by studying the associated growth of other characteristic gas components and CO and CO2 during the failure of solid insulation. The growth model of fault gas was set up to provide a new criterion for predicting failure.
1. Determine the conventional method of solid insulation failure
CO, CO2 is aging product of fiber material, usually in the fault cases also have a large number of accumulation, it is often difficult to determine by the analysis of CO and CO2 content is due to normal aging of the fiber material, or failure of the decomposition product.
In this paper, the total oxide amount of carbon in oil is studied by using transformer unit pa
