Abstract: In recent years, a lot of large bore pipeline flow measurement problems appeared in energy and resource industry, according
to the scale of industry production expands day by day for attain the effect of large scale. It was significant for industry branch to run
safely and efficiently, with lowest energy cost, to realize the accurate measurement of the large bore pipeline flow. For the development
of large bore pipeline flow measurement technology is behind the industry, profound research works is urgently needed in many
aspects of it, such as the method for flow meter performance evaluation, the way for no-fully-developped duct flow measurement,
optimization of flowmeter design, and so on. Model experiment and CFD simulation was introduced to the field of large bore pipeline
flow measurement in the paper. Some reseach works on ultrasonic flowmeter, it is siut for large bore pipeline water flow measurement,
was carried out in the case of Three Gorges power station water flow measurement. And, reseach works on Averaging Pitot Tubes
flowmeter, it is siut for large bore pipeline gas flow measurement, was carried out in the case of Sanhe generating plant air flow
measurement.
